WANDERLUST - Series Premise:
Shot in Brilliant HD Video
Dirt roads vanish under shifting sands as you try to read faded directions scratched in the back of a passport… all just to surf a beach a hundred miles from anywhere, rumored to have perfect waves. Is this what you want? Get off the road, Wanderlust is unrehearsed adventure.
In the company of his intrepid crew, Andrew Stack is like a moth to the
flame, always gravitating towards the most intense situations. Neither war
nor pestilence get in the way of an epic adventure. Stack's involvement
with the people he meets becomes a driving force for insanity as the show "unravels" towards its most intense moments.
As a former war correspondent, motocross racer and ski instructor, Stack doesn't know when to quit. From scuba diving Malaysia's Perhentian Islands to heli-skiing Alaska's Chugach Range, you'll tag along on motocross rallies through Cambodia's jungles, to Phnom Penh's firing ranges. No formula here, folks. Not even Andrew knows where he's going to end up. We don't know the ending and we can't guarantee his safety. We can guarantee it will be an adventure like nothing you've seen before.
If you're as tired as we are of the prepackaged voyeurism being churned out
by the distributors of so called "reality television," welcome. If you
really want a dose of reality, join Andrew Stack as he leads you on a no
holds barred adventure into parts of the world virtually forgotten.
Been there, done that? Not hardly. Wanderlust is not a morality tale and it only manages to be educational in the most accidental sense. Wanderlust is a half-hour car accident you watch because you simply cannot look away!
